Passing through Rothley, you might be forgiven for driving past without a second glance. Nestled on the edge of the village, directly next to the Great Central Railway, we have been serving our local community for 87 years.
You’ll always find David North behind his impressive cheese counter, and his son Dominic moving through the shop carrying anything from his signature Bagatelle to a five-tier wedding cake.
A patisserie counter filled with stunning delights, freshly baked morning goods and a tempting display of chocolates greets you on arrival. It’s a treasure trove of market-fresh fruit and vegetables, locally and globally sourced niche products, freshly baked bread and an impressive selection of wines from around the world.
